Scott L. Levin, B.A. George Washington University (with distinction), J.D. University of Denver (1982). Mr. Levin was elected to Phi Beta Kappa as an undergraduate and was a Barristers’ Cup Fellow in law school. Mr. Levin specializes in commercial litigation and has considerable experience in handling trials and arbitrations of all sizes and complexities. He was a lecturer in the Lawyering Process Program at University of Denver College of Law from 1993 through 1998. Mr. Levin has also lectured attorneys and trade organizations on topics including construction, mechanic’s liens, expansive soils issues, brokerage, real estate law, deposition taking and ethics. Prior to joining Sweetbaum, Levin & Sands, Mr. Levin was a shareholder at Levin, Rechlitz and Shimel, LLC and Haligman & Lottner, P.C. Mr. Levin was selected by his peers as being amongst the top five percent of attorneys and designated in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 as a “Super Lawyer” by Law and Politics magazine. In addition to his legal work, Mr. Levin is the Chairman of the Rose Community Foundation, a foundation of over $320 Million that provides funding of about $12 Million annually for programs in the Denver Metropolitan area. Mr. Levin is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Rocky Mountain Region of the Anti-Defamation League, a member of the Community Leadership Board of Mile High Montessori Early Learning Centers, a member of the board of Denver Campus for Jewish Education, and a past-President of Congregation Emanuel.
