Katherine Karamalegos Kust
Katherine Karamalegos Kust, B.A. University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, J.D. Golden Gate University School of Law, with distinction (2002). Ms. Kust focuses her practice in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, including real estate and construction defect litigation. She also has a strong appellate practice, having briefed numerous appeals to the Colorado Court of Appeals and Colorado Supreme Court. Ms. Kust has extensive experience in all stages of litigation, including participation in both Federal and State jury and bench trials as well as mediating civil and commercial matters. Ms. Kust is licensed to practice before all California and Colorado state courts, the U. S. District Courts for the District of Colorado, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the American, California, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, the Denver Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and the American Association for Justice. While at Golden Gate University School of Law, Ms. Kust completed a specialization and received honorary recognition in the field of Intellectual Property, was selected to be a member of the Law Review, and served as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association. Ms. Kust is also committed to giving back to the community. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Mental Health America of Colorado, where she has held the positions of chair of the public policy committee and secretary of the Board.
